Ascent Trip ReportHike 2/51 completed! Peak number 46. Very short hike with no view, but Noke seemed to enjoy all the smells that the rain brought. We took the only trail in and it was very well marked. The history behind the trail is interesting as the peak was once considered to be on private ground and the owners were not friendly. There are stories about high peakers being shot at and it was once said that the peak was less obtainable than Mt. Mckinley! So of course it made us smile when we got back to our car and a police officer was running our CT plate. All was good though. Mind the 830am- 4p hours, stay on the trail, and just maybe you can reach the top too!
