Ascent Trip Report

Second peak in one day Aasgard Pass ascent, (see Dragontail TR) we were snowed on during our traverse of the upper Enchantments basin, absolutely no views on top, which was a bummer for Noel and Chris as it was their first time up there. We left Dragontail's summit around 10am and were on top of Little Annapurna before noon, stayed up there for about 2 minutes, my shortest summit stay all year, and headed down to the upper basin trail to have lunch and pump water out of the wind. Back down the pass and out to the cars by 4:30pm, dinner at South (Mexican) in Leavenworth and home before 9pm. A great trip to two of Washington's top 100.
