Ascent Trip ReportFriggen hot! Sept 10: Traversed from Tuck Lake to Trico Lake. Dropped into unnammed drainage to north in steep forest then followed big blocky scree and vegetated slopes to ridge south of peak. Worked north on ridge bypassing obstructions on west finished peak on south in a short gully. Returned dropping off gentler south/SW ridge directly into drainage basin (better). Best do this from PCT. Sept 11: Great high walking from Robin Lakes bypassing French West and Pt. 6555 on south, hitting easy to find broad ledges in the granite bench country to finish on the NW ridge of French east. Go out to the left of final ridge to avoid brush and find fun granite blocky class 2 scrambling to the summit. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23557848@N03/sets/72157627539347911/
