Ascent Trip ReportSecond peak in two day trip with Patty and the dogs. My 11th peak on the Bulger list so far, 9 of which I've done in the last three months. Left Camp around 7:15 am on Sunday and headed into the upper most basin below the ridge connecting B.C. and W.C. and just under Isabella ridge, we chose to scramble some rocks left of the obvious spire on the ridge not knowing if there would be an easy way past this, turns out there was, so we ended up descending the easier light colored scree ramp instead on our way back. According to the register we were the 7th party in 2011. After doing West Craggy and traversing some the ridge around what looked like it would be a tricky part, I would want to do the ridge run instead of going back down to camp. Someone on the register said they went from W.C. To B.C. in 45 minutes, most likely on snow. I'll probably never do these peaks again... unless they are covered with snow. Very beautiful area.
