Ascent Trip Report

From a small village near Huairou China,we hiked up to the Great Wall following a unmaintained trail. This portion of the Great Wall is remote and is a little west of Badaling, the touristy section of the Wall. The hike up required scrambling and bouldering skills. We hiked to the highest portion of the Wall which was around 800 meters. From this point and elevation on the Wall, one can easily see the city of Beijing.
