Ascent Trip ReportSunday-started at Clear Creek Trailhead (6480ft) to set up Basecamp at 8663ft.Took short hikes to springs and up to the top of first ridge.
Monday-started up trail solo at 0545hrs made very quick time, felt really good. Stopped for short break to put on crampons and drink at snowfield at 10,459 ft and again to remove them at 11,078ft. Move to Grey band of talus to stay off trail of scree field. Had tough time finding a route up Misery Hill cliffs and made it to 13,229 ft before turning back due to hypoxia (dizziness). Although the summit was not obtained, I deemed this trip a monumental success. The only two others I saw on the mountain the whole day were the two others in my party that came up an hour or so after I did.
