Ascent Trip ReportPart of a three day trip with Patty and the pooches, started from Leroy Basin (3500). Climbed and returned to camp, hiked out the following day for burgers and a shake from the 59er dinner. Ice Lakes looked very cool, makes me want to try South Spectacle Butte via the Carne high route loop, we talked to a solo climber who had just done the traverse, he said it was a little sketchy. Amazing views of glacier peak.
