Ascent Trip ReportArc Dome is a great hike (be sure to tag North Arc Dome on the way up or down). Because of the large drop (700') between North Arc Dome and Arc Dome, Arc Dome stands apart from all other summits/ridges in the range giving it great views, and a distinctive look when viewed from other summits.
The trail is well maintained and easy to follow. The trail going up the final 1000' is very nicely switchbacked so as not to feel as steep as it appears on the topo map.
