Ascent Trip Report

Hike 1/51 complete! Peak number 31. Hiked 2 days after the Irene storm so our feet got a little wet! We started On roaring brook trail to hopper trail, to the at, to the summit. The total trip took 4.5 hours with roaring brook being the hardest part of the trip both up and down. The trails were well marked except for the beginning of roaring brook and making the switch from roaring brook to hopper. The day was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. If I were to do it again I would have gone overlook to hopper to Stoney ledge on my way down. We got a late start in the day and didn't have enough light to take the longer route back.
