Ascent Trip ReportThis was a drive-up - literally, my tire went over the highest spot.
Be aware that the road is gated when there is any moisture in the road bed - it was closed when I tried on July 4 this year (admittedly a particularly wet year, but don't expect to drive it in spring or fall if it's been raining). Also, the road is steep and rocky. I don't know if it would have been passable without my 4WD and high clearance.
