Ascent Trip Report

First of 8 high point summits by my son, Bryan, and I over a span of 3 days. Drove up close to the summit and walked the path to the summit and climbed the tower as well. Nice view from the top of the tower. We encountered a little extra excitement when we walked over to the exhibit area and encountered a timber rattlesnake at the base of one of the exhibits. It coiled up and then slithered off to the side into the grass.
