Ascent Trip ReportStarted at 10:45am from the trailhead of Mount Kearsarge North Trail (3.1-mile, 5.0 km) with Alan, which ascends 2,600 feet (790 m) from the North Conway side of Hurricane Mountain Road, near Intervale. Quite a strenuous ascent, but thanks to the stamina and muscles gained from the PMC weekend, reached the peak by 12:25pm.
Caught up with Tomoko's meet-up group at the top.
Had a nice long lunch break, enjoyed the surrounding views and the fire tower. Unfortunately, view was hazy and not clear, otherwise would have been great.
We descended (a group of 8) Weeks Brook Trail, a 4.7-mile (7.6 km) route, to a trailhead on Forest Road 317 in Chatham. Started around 1pm and took about 2h to descend.
