Ascent Trip ReportNice trail. Never very steep. Return trip stayed on Crater Rim Trail east to pick up Lost Lake Trail that goes west and across the Pumice Flats. Was not expecting this to add 2.4 miles to my day. Should have returned same way on Lost Lake South Trail and just walked a quarter mile east to see the Flats. Bring your DEET. The whole caldera is the 2nd worst place I've ever been for mosquitoes.
