Ascent Trip Report

Parked beside Domtar Road, just west of the intersection with Gong Lake Road (east of Gravel Lake). Followed an ATV trail northwest and then west to a small lake. The ATV trail ends at the beaver dam at the east shore of the lake. Difficult bushwhack along the northern shoreline of the lake until crossing a swampy area where a small stream empties into the northwest edge of the lake. Bushwhacked west up to the summit through various types of forests. Route was steep at times and had to walk around a couple of rock faces along the way. Hardwood forest dominates much of the the summit area, but there are some views northeast just south of the actual high point on the summit.
