Ascent Trip Report***Sierra Club HPS Outing***

Vivian Creek Trail was closed today so we came up the Fish Creek Trail to Mine Shaft Saddle. From Mine Shaft Saddle we climbed directly up the very steep (1,500' gain in less than 1 mile)northeast ridge of San G to the summit. From San G to Dobbs Peak and then return out via the standard trail which switchbacks along the eastern side of San G. Long (15.5 hrs), tough day. Mileage and gain includes San G and Dobbs. 13 people on outing.
