Ascent Trip ReportThe slide up Owl's Head is up there with South Slide and Flume, but relents about 2/3 up. Trail at the top is blow down after blow down, but not that bad. Summit is a cairn with no views. Best views are going up the slide.
I lost about 45 minutes as I thought I had missed the intersection with Owl's Path. I back tracked 1/2 mile, before realizing my error. Don't only trust GPS is the lesson of the day. It had the summit much farther south that it was (old summit?). When I compared my map to the GPS map I saw the problem.
