Ascent Trip ReportNancy LaBaff, Ken Hodges and I hiked HaBaSa on Aug 12 2011. We met at the Garden Parking Lot around 7:15am and started to hike around 7:40am. We passed JBL, then, hiked to Little Haystack and Haystack as the first HPs on that day. Came back to the junction by coming back on Little Haystack, then, hiked down NNE direction to get to Basin as 2nd summit. After then, we moved forward to Saddleback. It was beautiful day for hike and we spent a bit less than 11 hours for a bit less than 18 miles hike. Our average hiking pace was 2 mph.
