Ascent Trip ReportAs far as I can determine, Baughman Rocks is the 2nd highest named summit point in Pennsylvania, although it could be argued that this area is only a sub-peak of Mount Davis and it is not named on topographic maps. However, at the beginning of the short handicapped accessible trail to the summit, a sign clearly identifies this point as Baughman Rocks and the actual site is well elevated above the surrounding area with huge boulders. Care must be taken on these boulders, especially if you have children with you, because several 1-2 foot wide cracks in the rocks could deposit a careless individual 20 feet lower quickly!
