Ascent Trip ReportMount Watson...or so we thought. We climbed from upper Anderson lakes above the cliffs and crossed the snowfield and came to a small point which we thought was the main col. It didn't seem quite right and seemed smaller than it should be. We scrambled up a class 3 rocky ridge to what we thought was the top, but later figured out (next day) the true west summit we could see from this point. We had climbed up the wrong ridge to begin with and never saw the col we were supposed to go to. We should have studied the topo map better, or should have had a larger map of the area. Now that we know where we were supposed to go, we will try again, likely on a trip to Bacon.
