|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||1383 ft / 421 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis was a pleasant climb across a nice mowed field into a forest with a fine system of trails. No bushwhacking required here. I parked my car on a road located directly to the east of Big Knob and hiked across a field into the forest where I followed a path to the summit ridgeline. I easily found the summit bechmark at the north end of the summit, then I hike several hundred feet to the south end where the 1383-foot spot elevation is indicated on the topo map. The only disappointing part of this climb is the lack of any summit view due to the trees. I met the landowner as I returned to my car, but the lady was very friendly and did not mind that I had crossed her property. She said, "Lots of people hike here."
