Ascent Trip Report

A fun hike in Death Valley NP. No trail, just park by the Scotty's Castle road (Mile Post 19) and hike up the wash to the alluvial fan until the canyon. Seemed to take forever to get there, lots of rocky debris everywhere, so no easy way to pick through. The canyon is beautif with red/gold walls all the way through. Hiked until reaching approximately 25 foot dry fall. There was a rope there that someone had fixed, but I didn't feel good enough about climbing it
