Ascent Trip Report

This was our third peak of the day, and the first with a trail. The trail is well made and has a fairly steady gain. It is wide and well traveled, with a fire lookout at the summit. Something of note is that when I called ahead (just a day or two before) to gather information for the trip, the ranger I spoke with was very uninformed about the conditions on the trail. He reported that there was still a fairly significant amount of snow all along the trail. We were pleased to discover that there was actually no snow at all along the trail, and we only saw one small snowfield on a steep slope below the summit.
