Ascent Trip Report

Myself the gf, her friend, and their dog. Nice long hike to the top. Some decent bouldering/rock scrambling at the top. Weather started to move in with a slight drizzle around noon. Stood on the summit about 12:30 ate some and headed back down. Short cutted straight down the boulder field and caught the trail a little lower down. Most of the weather avoided us but we could see Long's getting slammed to the north. Was about 40F on top, pretty chilly for the shorts and T-shirt I was wearing. Overall a nice hike and with better views would've been even better. View all the way down to the plains. Saw 3 bull moose too as we were driving out of the National Forest.
