Ascent Trip ReportThis one is a bit of a drive. From Hwy 95 take the Jordan Craters Rd and zero your odometer. At 11.3 turn right, at 17.9 miles turn right on a lesser road, at 19.9 pass a watering hole with a tanker trailer parked there, at 20.5 go through a gate, at 21.3 go through another gate and stay left, at 22.4 stay right, at 23.3 go through a 3rd gate, at 24.1 reach a pond and spring where 4Wd may be necessary to go further, at 24.7 go through a 4th gate, at 25.6 take the right fork, and at 26.5 I parked in front of a locked gate.
I climbed the fence and hiked the road up to a saddle, followed the road through a meadow and then the road went over the next ridge. From there you can see the high point on the next ridge. I hiked the road until I could see a path up to the summit from the southeast. Coming down I took a more direct route. Nice views.
