Ascent Trip ReportTook the cruise out from Portsmouth. 1 hour of narrated trip on very flat water. Great views of Agamenticus, Great Hill, etc. Took our time hiking around, but saw the entire island in an hour so despite booking the four hour walk-about we were back on the boat for the early ride back. I think my link below shows the actual HP.
Here is where we walked.
Point 1 is the actual high point (I think), not next to one of the other buildings. The Capt. John Smith monument is a close second in height. The Point 2 is the BM, although the metal marker is missing it is easy to spot where it was placed in the rocks.
