Ascent Trip Report

After a long day over the Tripyramids, Sleepers, Whiteface and Passaconaway, we decided to do something a little easier today.
Gudi, Kaekae and I started heading up the Hale Brook Trail on this gorgeous morning at 8:50. Although this is a much shorter day, the trail certainly has a steady, semi-steep grade to it which we all felt in our legs. The lower portion is very easy to navigate as there are very few rocks, the upper section becomes more ‘rocky’ but not bad going.
We reached the sunny peak at 10:25 where we explored the area bit. That really is a big ‘cairn’ at the top, more like a huge pile of rocks though.
We headed back down at 11 and reached the car at 12:05.
