Ascent Trip Report

While one can drive to this summit, to me, it just doesn't seem right. That said, the road hike is fairly dusty and the road gets enough traffic to be irritating (about 6 cars per hour).

The only challenge in this is finding the true high point. Fortunately, a major antenna was built fairly close, and is easily visible just east of the road. Once at the antenna, if one heads south, one will soon see the summit cairn.

There is not much reward in this, other than checking the peak off one's lists. The view from the summit is non-existent - just a view of surrounding trees and the previously mentioned antenna.
