Ascent Trip ReportThis is a fairly trivial hike but necessary if one is to work on the National Park high points list. There is potential confusion at the start where the road is still in use and labeled a service road and "private residence". Shortly, the road ends at the residence with no clear sign as to which way to proceed. Head left and you will soon come to a gate, beyond which the trail is obvious to the summit.
The views are OK, but lacking in comparison to those from the nearby rim.
