Ascent Trip Report

Was heading to the White Mountains for the weekend and stopped by to hiking this as a warm up. Took the West Ridge trail up and opted not to do the loop, so I came back the same way. The trail was in great condition and easy to follow. I was really impressed by the wide-open rock summit. Great views and I even stopped on the way back down, though still above treeline, to snack on some wild blueberries. Very nice time for my first hike in NH and having finished the ADK's Fire Tower Challenge last summer, I figured I would start the NH version.
