Ascent Trip Report

I hiked ossipee again today because i am trying to get back in shape. i parked again down at the bottom and worked my way up to the top. today was a bit hotter of a day so i wanted to take it slow, i walked up and ran down. it was a fun day, there wass some people on the trail working maintaining the road up to the tower. if you are hiking this mtn. i advice you to be aware of oncomming traffic, and atvs and dirtbikes there are some corners and they could very well come around to fast so be careful. it was a great hike, good views, nice to see trail maintnence. i was talking to a guy at the top and he said they are building a new tower for the fire dep. and police dep. so thats always nice to see new additions adding on too. but overall this was a great day for backpacking. once again i always rate and recomend. i recomend this hike to all ages, both youth and adult, beginner and experianced hikers. this hike is a great way to get outdoors and stay in shape, its why im doing in try it yourself. a great maintained trail, not challenging, a tower at the top, great for picknicking hiking with young ones, or just walking outdoors. get out there this is a great hike.
