Ascent Trip ReportNancy LaBaff and I did 1 day Seward Range 4 HPs hike on 7/16/2011. We started to hike on BlueBerry Trail. After passed Ward Brook Lean-to, we started ascent toward Seymour(4091 ft). We started to hike around 5:15am and reached to Seymour summit around 9am. The rocky area on Seymour was relatively well dried. So I didn't slip. Then, we hiked down, passed Lean-to, then, started ascent to Seward. From Blueberry trail, it's big elevation gain to reach to Seward. I think we reached to its summit before noon. Then, we proceeded to Donaldson. At Donaldson summit, we left out packs and brought only water and small snack into small sack and hiked to Emmons. Returned to Donaldson, picked up backpack, then, we took Calkin Brook herd path to back to the BlueBerry Trail. It took a bit less than 12 hours for this big hike.
