Having completed my new county efforts for the day, I was now ready to travel to Bellefontaine and make my first re-visit to Campbell Hill. I made the short trip north to Logan County, traveling along many of the same roads that would be needed for Friday’s event at Ohio Caverns. Indeed, I saw several signs that pointed the way to the nearby attraction.
On my arrival at the HP grounds, I was pleased to find the gate still open at the vocational center. It was around 9:00pm, but some daylight was present together with a handful of people when I climbed (actually, drove/walked would be more accurate) to the HP. I stepped on the high ground, signed the visitor’s register, and then made my way into town for a well-earned meal.
On Friday, I revisited the summit because that’s where the Konvention registration was taking place. On Saturday, I summited again for the HP ceremony, group picture, and always-present watermelon.
