Ascent Trip ReportFrom Route 9 along ridge trail. Departure 8:20 a.m. Beautiful day!!! Long, gradual hike up ridge: Bluebery Cobbles, Bald Peak (where several other hikers were enjoying the lovelyy day and we spent some time identifying peaks). Views were spectacular. Lunch at Rocky Peak after which we passed Mary Louise Pond. On to Rocky Ridge Peak which we departed appoximately 2:30 p.m. At the col by 3:00 p.m. and summit Giant 3:45 p.m. Started down at 4:30 p.m. and out on route 73 (to our parked car) about 7:00 p.m. Great day.
