Ascent Trip ReportGoal: Hogsback on SS route.
Training for upcoming Adams climb and scouting for Hood summit climb next year.
The Bergschrund (Coalman Glacier) was VERY open, and it appeared from the discussions I had on the way up that everyone summiting from the south had used the chutes to the left, just above Hot Rocks (Old Chute variation?). There were some very large crevasses running into the Palmer Glacier where it overhangs the White River glacier on its east side, be careful not to glissade into them!
