Ascent Trip ReportSuccessful summit of The Tooth S face on second attempt. Snow still very much present on the approach route. Took the summer approach route at a 515am start from Snow Lake Trail and hit snow on the trail. Mandatory ice axe and crampons about 1.5 hours into trip--used them until we reached the base of the climb. Rock itself was entirely free of snow and the route was in excellent condition. One party of 3 ahead of us, but they moved quickly knocking out the first two pitches in one go. A party of 2 and 3 came behind us, but only after we were well on the summit.
