Ascent Trip ReportAfter getting rained out on my way to do the Wright-Algonquin-Iroquois trio the previous weekend, I was on my way again to knock a few more of the 46 off my list. Parked at the Loj and was on my way around 9:20. The trail was in great shape and most of the spots of mud were shallow enough that walking through them still kept my feet dry. The day was a bit overcast and muggy but it didn't rain once. I reached the junction to Wright Peak and went right up where I had a nice conversation with Jeanna and Julia (the summit stewards there to educate about the fragile alpine environment). The summit was pretty windy and clouded in, but to me it gave it a very cool mystic feel. I didn't stay too long before heading the 0.4 miles back down to the main trail and off to Algonquin.
