Ascent Trip ReportStarted at Roaring Brook Trail at 8AM. Hit Giant summit @ 10:30. Good trail conditions. The summit was cloudy but the clouds rolled out after about 20 minutes to open up the views. Took the trail to Rocky Peak Ridge which took about an hour to traverse each way. Beautiful views on RPR also with clouds rolling in and out. Great views to the north, south and east.
On the way down took the trail toward the Chapel Pond trail head. There are much better ascending views on this trail. Cut back over to the Roaring Brook via the Nubble which proides a good look at Giant from up close. Back to the trailhead just before 5pm. Trail conditions were great.
