Ascent Trip ReportThis hike starts out straightforward enough following a road to the ridge north of Alpha Peak. Beyond that it gets a bit tricky as either a use or animal trail appears and disappears from time to time. The trick is to stay on the east side of the ridge, and well before peak 9320+, stay below the ridge. Around 9700', the slope gets very steep and loose - if there's a good way up or down, we didn't find it. The great views at the summit make it all worthwhile.
