|Date:||Friday, June 24, 2011|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||4240 ft / 1292 m|
Ascent Trip ReportAscended from the Caribou Valley via the AT and side trail. Very windy conditions at the summit. Began to rain which didn't stop all day once reaching the top of the ridge (junction with the blue trail to Sugarloaf). Continued on to Spaulding and Abraham.
I would highly recommend a high clearance vehicle (4 wheel drive truck) if attempting to drive in on the Caribou Valley Road, as cars will bottom out along this road!
