Ascent Trip ReportFrom Hwy 97 take the paved/signed Bray/Tenant road going east and zero your odometer. At 5.1 miles turn left on the signed road to Bray, this road soon turns to a good gravel road. At 7.3 miles, just as you enter Bray, turn left on the signed road to Orr Lake, cross the railroad tracks, and at 7.6 miles turn right on road 44N09Y to the Orr Mtn Lookout. At 8.1 miles pass through an open gate (it should be locked if there is no one at the fire lookout). At 10.7 arrive at the fire lookout and enjoy the maginficent views of Mt Shasta.
