Ascent Trip Report

I used to be a trip leader/guide for Mt. Fuji while I was stationed at Yokosuka Naval Base & have climbed Fuji-san at least 20 times; this is just one of many climbs I've done.

I even snow hiked to the top & then snowboarded down once.

I also hike & biked Mt. Fuji once; hiked to the summit while carrying my MTB and then MTB the entire descent.

Magnificent sunrises, but extremely commercialized.

Only difficult aspect of this climb is the effects of the altitude. That or if you get caught in bad weather.
