Ascent Trip ReportI thought that I reached the top of Potash Mountain in 2010, but I actually had a little bit more to go.
The Mount Potash Trail had an easy to moderate grade to the point where I stopped and turned around. It crossed a river, which was a little tricky, and a logging road early on, and then ascended through thickish woods to the ledges at which my Dad and I stopped and turned around because we thought that we had reached the summit but didn't. The real summit of Potash is more open.
