Ascent Trip ReportA drive up.
Our Granddaughter, Holly, lost her semi-final game, 2-1, early this morning in her New England Sports Center Hockey Tournament, they'll be driving home later this morning while we will be staying back and continue with our hiking.
We left Marlborough, MA and drove south on I495, to exit 21B, west a very short distance to a left on South Street (a major intersection with a stop light) and a huge EMC2 industrial complex. At 1.3 miles we turned right into #176 South Street (the entrance to a huge office complex located on the summit), the gate has been removed but the Guard House is still there. We drove the road all around the circumference of the complex, and found the obvious high ground to be in the middle of the road on the west side of the complex (abt 1 mile from South Street entrance). Just west of the road is higher ground however it appears to be the top of an underground tank and not natural.
