Ascent Trip ReportFrom Route 40 going west, pass through Weskan. Four miles after this you'll see the small brown sign saying Mt. Sunflower and an arrow to the right. This is WA-N3, for about 12 miles of gravel road. You'll come to another brown Mt. Sunflower sign and a left turn, you'll be able to see the 'display' at the top from here. After less than a mile will be the Mt. Sunflower right turn and the high point.
Two very nice sunflower sculptures, one from a bike chain and the other from railroad spikes.
