Ascent Trip ReportParked on the west side of 9W and followed the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail up along a few sections of the old graded railway to the ridge of Dunderberg Mountain, then up and over the summits of Dunderberg and Bald Mountain. Picked up the 1777 trail on the west side of Bald Mountain and then followed the Timp-Torne trail back to the PA. Saw four deer on this hike, five including the spotted fawn that came withing twenty feet of my daughter and I along the Timp-Torne Trail. Despite the forecast giving only a ten percent chance of rain, a light drizzle fell for the last thirty minutes or so, but never really became a sustained rainfall. Five hours total time out.
