Ascent Trip ReportHeading north out of Questa find a sign pointing left to the trailhead a couple of miles north of town (1 mile before turnoff to Rio Grande Recreation area). The trail is not much more than an easement through Questa Mine property to the National Forest boundary. It's a mostly flat 0.7 mi. to the boundary. After that there's part of a use trail and remnants of an abandoned logging road, but much of it is essentially a bush whack and fairly steep--about 1100 feet elevation gain in a little over mile. Great views in all directions from the top!
