Ascent Trip ReportAwesome Day! Posted this as a meet-up and got a great group of 10 strong and experienced hikers. Weather wasn't fabulous to start - clouds and fog - but temps were okay the whole day and we never got rained on. Sun and blue skies came out for the last summit, Passaconaway and for our walk. Finished 2 hours faster than book time (10 hours 45 min) - not bad for a big group. The trails were beautiful and interesting and fun - really liked the variety you saw on this loop. And I think this loop is becoming one of my favorites. :) A few noteworthy sights - an incredible amount of moose poop on the sleepers - a jurassic park size pile of it... shocking! and beavers have dammed and flooded a creek by the Oliverian Brook trail... Quite a sight. (No snow left - just a few tiny sections of ice - but trail still pretty wet).
