Ascent Trip Report

Parked at trail head at end of Black Dome Rd and hiked up the red market Black Dome Trail. Weather quite warm 70 - 75 degrees. Welcome spring water half way up, quite a few switchbacks closer to the col interception with Yellow trail. Took a right turn on yellow and climbed quite steep but very scenic trail to summit. There was a fantastic ledge looking south where in the haze I could see the Devil's Path range Indian Head, Twin, Sugerloaf and Plateau. Next on to Thomas Cole, return to Black Dome and finally Blackhead.
