Ascent Trip ReportLiz.A, Russ.W and I bushwhacked Scar Ridge on 10/4. We started hike around 7:45AM and completed at 5:10PM. We started hike from Loon Ski Resort, took the far left ski trail, went up to the top first which was 9:05AM. Then, we left at top around 9:15AM and hiked down same ski trail 4-5min in order to find out herd path. We started bushwhack from there. First 0.5 miles or so, herd path was very clear and we just followed it. Then, we changed bearing and started to go up w/ bushwhack. We reached at West peak of Scar Ridge around 11:35AM and reached to East summit canister at 12:30pm. Then, we came back to West Peak at 1:15pm. Ate lunch, then started BW at 1:45PM. We got out to ski trail around 4:15PM and came back to the parking lot at 5:10PM. It was a long day hike, especially after I hiked Jay Peak & Big Jay 2 days ago and Osceola/E. Osceola a day ago. It was peak season of color foliage and I enjoyed beautiful scenary
