Ascent Trip ReportI used Dennis Poulin's excellent 28 Jan 2011 trip report from this site. My mileages were a little shorter, but that's to be expected with a different odometer.
Careful hand leveling confirmed that the MacLeod/Lilley register is at the highpoint, which is in the largest contour, not at the point with the 2130 spot elevation. Several of the competing 2130+ contours did not look high enough to justify that last contour.
I walked up from Hanna Spring, but it looked as if a serious 4WDer might be able to drive the jeep road to 2150m on the west side. If you're into that kind of thing, you might want to check it out.
